Community leaders will also become mentors. During National Mentoring Month, this is your chance to give back and become a mentor to someone searching for help and guidance. Mentors are not only those who coach and help others, mentors can have a positive impact on the direction of someone’s life. Even if it is a family member, mentoring can help. Think about ways that you might become a mentor in your community, at your school, on a national level even.
National Mentoring Month is during the month of January. Not only are people encouraged to get involved and participate in mentoring programs, but this is also a time to honor those who are senior leaders in the mentoring community.
